Hsin Chia
Chief Executive Officer
 Hsin Chia, an influential member of the industrial and consumer fiber communications industry at large and a globally respected industry marketer, drives the company’s strategy and vision to focus on delivering consumer and industrial products and solutions that will leverage fiber to the home (FTTH) and industrial fiber wired segments. He works closely with Managing Director Thomas Moriarty to translate strategy into operational excellence.
Prior to joining Firecomms, Chia led the cross-functional team at GLOBALFOUNDRIES Inc. that developed the company’s strategic direction and operational initiatives. He also developed the Industrial Fiber Product division at Avago Technologies Inc., and drove the product development and manufacturing of cutting edge photonic products in the Optical Networking division of Agilent Inc.
Hsin holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

Thomas Moriarty
Managing Director/Co-Founder
 Prior to co-founding Firecomms, Thomas Moriarty was responsible for setting up the Irish subsidiary of Moog Inc. and overseeing its expansion to become Moog's design and manufacture center for electronic motor controllers for world markets. At Moog, Thomas managed a staff of 170, including a design group of 25 electronic and software engineers.
Thomas has also served as Chairman of the Board of Power Electronics Ireland, and Chairman of the Cork Electronics Industry Association. He has played a leading role in three international take-overs.
Thomas holds a Masters in Engineering from UCD and a Masters in Business Studies from the University of Warwick. |

John Lambkin
Chief Technical Officer/Co-Founder
 Dr. John D. Lambkin is responsible for forming and implementing Firecomms’ R&D strategy with an emphasis on supporting Firecomms’ future product portfolio in emerging technologies.
Prior to establishing Firecomms, John was a senior research scientist at the Tyndall National Institute in Ireland managing research consortia funded by the EU. He holds a BSc and PhD in Physics from the University of Surrey, UK and has 20 years of experience in the research and development of semiconductor light sources, components and their applications. |

Hugh Hennessy
Vice-President, Sales & Marketing
 Hugh Hennessy joined Firecomms from TDK where he led sales teams in delivering over $300M in global sales. Previously, he held various positions within TDK, including global account manager for the company's American division, and general manager of the Eastern Europe operation. Prior to TDK he worked for Deutsche Telekom as an Electronic Engineer.
Hugh holds a diploma in Electronic Engineering from DIT and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Trinity College in Dublin. |
